Countries, sources and languages

Tenderen covers Norwegian tenders from Doffin, European tenders from TED and French tenders from BOAMP, updated from every hour to once a day. The app is available in 25 languages, and tender documents keep the language they were published in.

Sources and how often they update

Doffin is checked every hour, TED every two hours and BOAMP (France) once a day. Contract award notices are imported every night.

Countries

Norway is covered through Doffin. Other European countries are covered through TED for the countries enabled in the index, and France also through its national portal BOAMP. We do not index Finland's Hilma or the UK's Find a Tender service: Finnish tenders above the EU thresholds arrive through TED, and the UK is not covered. The homepage shows the live number of countries in the index.

Interface languages

The app is available in 25 languages. Change the language under Settings → Language.

  • Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish and English
  • German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese
  • Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croatian and Slovenian
  • Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Greek
  • Japanese and Korean

Tender documents and the AI

Notices and documents keep the language they were published in. On Pro and Enterprise, the AI can summarise the documents and answer questions about them in your language. The help center, the developer docs, the comparison pages and the templates are in English and Norwegian.

Limits

  • Below-threshold tenders in other countries are often published only on national portals that Tenderen does not index, for example in Sweden and Denmark.
  • Free-text search matches the words in the notice. Use CPV codes, which are the same in every language, to find notices written in other languages.

Frequently asked questions

Can I search in English for Norwegian tenders?
Free-text search looks for the words you type, and Norwegian notices are written in Norwegian. Search with Norwegian words, or use CPV codes, which work across languages.
Does Tenderen cover Sweden and Denmark?
Swedish and Danish tenders above the EU/EEA thresholds are published on TED, which Tenderen indexes for the countries enabled in the index. Below-threshold tenders that are only on national Swedish or Danish portals are not covered.
