How to set up an alert that catches the right tenders
Build the alert from three things — the CPV codes for what you deliver, keywords that narrow them down, and the regions you deliver in — choose email or Slack delivery, and adjust it after a week of matches.
Before you start
List the CPV codes that describe what you deliver. The free CPV lookup searches the full vocabulary, and the CPV watchlist template gives you a starting list for common industries.
Step by step
Tune it after a week
- Too many irrelevant matches: add keywords, limit regions or raise the minimum value.
- Too few matches: remove a keyword, add a broader CPV code or widen the regions.
- Tenders you found elsewhere but the alert missed: check which CPV codes those notices use and add them.
Watch for re-tenders as well
Choose the re-tender alert type to watch public contracts in your CPV codes that are nearing their end date, with a horizon of up to 60 months. It tells you about the next competition before it is announced.
Limits
- Free: 1 user, daily email digest and up to 5 saved tenders.
- An alert only finds tenders from the sources Tenderen indexes.
