Sign-in, roles, two-factor authentication and SSO

You sign in with a link sent to your email or with a password, you can turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app, and every user has the role Owner, Admin or Member. Single sign-on (SSO/SAML) is not available yet.

Sign-in

Enter your email and Tenderen sends a sign-in link, or sign in with a password if you have set one. Repeated failed sign-in attempts are blocked for a while.

Two-factor authentication

Turn on two-factor authentication under Settings → Account. You scan a QR code with an authenticator app and then enter a six-digit code when you sign in.

Roles

  • Owner and Admin: manage users, billing, integrations and API keys.
  • Member: works on tenders and bids.
  • External access: share one part of the work with someone outside the company through a link you can revoke at any time.

API keys

On Enterprise, Owners and Admins create API keys with chosen scopes. New keys are read-only by default, the full key is shown once and only a hash is stored, and keys can have an expiry date and be revoked at any time.

Limits

  • Single sign-on (SSO/SAML) and automatic user provisioning (SCIM) are not available.
  • ISO 27001 certification is in progress; Tenderen is not certified yet.
