What is TED (Tenders Electronic Daily)?

TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) is the online supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, where public buyers in the EU and EEA — including Norway — publish competitions above the EU/EEA thresholds. It is the place to find large public contracts across Europe.

What is published on TED

Contract notices, award notices and other notices for procurements above the thresholds, from every EU and EEA country. Norwegian notices reach TED through Doffin.

Why it matters for Norwegian suppliers

Competitions in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and the rest of Europe are only on TED or the national portals of those countries, not on Doffin. If you deliver across borders, you need TED.

How Tenderen uses TED

Tenderen checks TED every two hours for the countries in its index and lets you search TED and Doffin in one place, with the same alerts and CPV codes.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to read notices in other languages?
Notices keep the language they were published in. On Pro and Enterprise, Tenderen's AI can summarise the tender documents in your language.
