Switching guide

Switching from Finndoff to Tenderen: a step-by-step guide

You switch from Finndoff to Tenderen by rebuilding your alert profiles in Tenderen, moving one function at a time and cancelling each Finndoff module once it is covered. Finndoff has no lock-in and does not export alert rules, so the switch is mostly about recreating your filters.

Best for: Finndoff users who want tender monitoring, AI help with the tender documents and bid writing in one workspace.

Step by step

  1. Write down the filters in your Finndoff alert profiles: industries, CPV codes, keywords and regions.
  2. Create a Tenderen account and add your company. Norwegian companies are prefilled from the Brønnøysund Register.
  3. Recreate the alert profiles in Tenderen. One alert covers both Doffin and TED.
  4. Cancel the Finndoff alert module (Varsling) once the Tenderen alerts cover the same tenders.
  5. Move insight and bid work next: upload earlier bids, CVs and certificates to the document library and use Tenderen for document analysis and writing. Then cancel the remaining modules (Innsikt, Konsulent) you no longer need.
  6. Invite everyone who used to coordinate by email into the same Tenderen workspace, so drafts, requirement lists and deadlines live in one place.

What is not imported

  • Alert profiles and rules from Finndoff
  • Saved tenders, notes and history in Finndoff
  • Work a Finndoff consultant has done for you

A realistic plan

  • Day 1: account, company profile and alerts.
  • First week: compare alerts and tune the filters, then cancel the alert module.
  • Next bid: write it in Tenderen and cancel the modules you no longer use.

Choose something else if

  • You want a person to write the bid for you — Tenderen is software. Tenderen's Managed Services or Finndoff's consultants are the alternatives.
  • You need the buyer's price schedules filled in automatically; Tenderen does not do that.
  • You need single sign-on (SSO/SAML); it is not available yet.

Frequently asked questions

Can I run Finndoff and Tenderen at the same time?
Yes. Because Finndoff bills per module without lock-in, you can keep a module while you test the same function in Tenderen.
Is there an import from Finndoff?
No. You recreate the alert profiles in Tenderen.
