HubSpot integration: your bid pipeline as HubSpot deals
Tenderen pushes the tenders in your bid pipeline to HubSpot as deals — with name, stage, amount and close date — when you click Sync now under Settings → Integrations → CRM. The sync is one-way, from Tenderen to HubSpot.
Best for: Companies whose sales forecast lives in HubSpot and who want public tenders to show up next to their other deals.
What is synced
- Every tender you have saved in the pipeline stages Preparing bid, Submitted, Won or Lost becomes a HubSpot deal. Tenders in Reviewing are not synced.
- Deal name: the tender title. Amount: the tender's estimated value, when the notice has one. Close date: the tender deadline, or 90 days after the sync when there is no deadline. Description: the tender ID.
- On later syncs, Tenderen updates the stage of deals it created earlier. Other deal fields are left as they are in HubSpot.
How stages map
- Preparing bid → Qualified to buy
- Submitted → Contract sent
- Won → Closed won
- Lost → Closed lost
Connect HubSpot
- In HubSpot, create a private app with the scope crm.objects.deals.write and copy its access token. Note your HubSpot portal ID.
- In Tenderen, go to Settings → Integrations → CRM, paste the token and the portal ID and click Connect HubSpot.
- Click Sync now. The log on the same page shows each created or updated deal, and any errors.
Troubleshooting
- Connection fails: check that the token belongs to a private app with the deals write scope and that the portal ID matches the account.
- A deal shows the wrong currency: the amount is sent as a number, and HubSpot shows it in your portal's default currency.
- A deal was not updated: only deals Tenderen created itself are updated. Deals created by hand in HubSpot are not matched.
Limits
- The sync runs when you click Sync now. Moving a tender in the pipeline does not update HubSpot on its own.
- One-way only: changes made in HubSpot are not read back into Tenderen.
- Deals use the stages of HubSpot's default sales pipeline. Custom pipelines and stages are not mapped.
- The sync covers the tenders saved by the user who connected HubSpot. The token is stored encrypted.
- HubSpot is the only CRM supported today.
Frequently asked questions
- Does removing a tender in Tenderen delete the HubSpot deal?
- No. Tenderen never deletes deals in HubSpot.
- Can I use Salesforce or Pipedrive?
- Not directly. Enterprise customers can use the REST API to read the pipeline and push it to another system.
